We are aware the local School Boards are focusing on taking necessary steps in an effort to protect the student’s health and safety to avoid COVID19 at your schools, as well as the teachers. We understand there may be a chance the schools may close prior to delivery of the applications. With that in mind, we have created a micro-site which will house the documents for our application package. We will activate this link starting March 28, in the event the schools are closed.
To apply for the Summer Youth Program, you need to fill out an Employment Application-Essay Form. If your application is approved, we will email you a link to set up an Interview Appointment.
Applications and Essays must be turned in no later than 12PM, Thursday, April 23. Late applications will not be accepted. Select the link above for more information.

Banning High School will be a Grab-n-Go Location. Due to recent developments in the global Coronavirus pandemic, LAUSD is opening Grab & Go Food Centers, giving families 60 sites where they can pick up food for their children. We are following guidelines from public health experts and government partners who have called for increased social distancing to slow the spread of the virus. In keeping with District policy, we conduct random searches on a daily basis to ensure everyone's safety. Specifically, the purpose of these searches are to detect the possession of weapons, deter bringing weapons onto school grounds, and reduce the potential for violent incidents.
