Good times and a lesson learned
I was part of the Track and Field staff and we were playing against Narbonne.It was also the last year we had a great,almost undefeated Football team.Michael Alo,a great football player,whom made it into USC(but later injured Himself and was out of football entirely) Had His turn to throw the shotput.Narbonne had been bragging becuase they had thrown their's a decent distance.Micheal came up for his turn,and sent the shotput double the distance any Narbonne players had.Just listening to the Narbonne team moan after His throw and How it discouraged Them made me swell up with pride.Boy did we have talent in Banning and over the years,Ive met people acroos the country that know about Banning and its reputation for sports.
