Career Day 2010 is March 23rd!
It's back! Many different business and education reps will be on campus to share valuable information. The Fair syle event will take place on Tuesday, March 23rd in the Woodson Hall, periods 2-5. Students will attend with their teachers. Plan on it!
Test Taking PowerPoint
Today's Introduction to Test Taking PowerPoint is to get your students ready for Banning's Test Prep Wednesday/Thursday next week. You can download the PowerPoint on the Banning Web page under News and Annoucements, pick up a cd of the PowerPoint from the IMC, or in the main building you can view the PowerPoint by tuning to channel 20 or 71 on your classroom television. (see attached file for your designation)
CAHSEE Revolution Prep After School
Banning High School is offering preparation assistance for the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) to all 10th graders and any 11th or 12th grader who has yet to pass the CAHSEE.

SPOT (Supplemental Programs and Onsite Tutoring)
Free tutoring is available everyday after school. Digital Photography, Aerobics and Computer Repair Workshops are offered from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Visit the Pilot Center for an application. The Pilot Center is open Monday-Friday, 3-6pm.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
Information about scholarships and financial aid is available in the Pilot Center. Seniors should check-in weekly to see new additions to our scholarship information board. The Pilot Center is open Monday through Friday until 6 p.m.
Senior Portfolio Information
Seniors Portfolio items required--3 items total: 1 letter of recommendation, 1 resume and a Cover Letter to your resume OR a Personal Statement. Help is available in the Pilot Center. Click on this for more information.
